Parking in Culdesacs
Posted on Sep 26th, 2015
From the City of Aurora Alderman.  As a reminder to area residents and their guests, parking on a cul-de-sac circle curblines is a violation of City Ordinance, where it limits the roadway to less than 18 feet.  It is also a violation to park perpendicular to any curb unless there is a lined parking space or within 5 feet of any driveway. Violators shall be ticketed.  Parking illegally in culdesacs presents safety issues in preventing access by emergency response which several reported incidents recently has brought the problem to the forefront.
Please continue to park your vehicles in your provided garages, driveways, and on through streets where it is legal and NOT around the culdesac island curblines.
